16th-century Twickel Castle
The magnificent castle on the estate is still inhabited, but you can visit the castle gardens. It’s worth a visit!

The town of Delden features historic buildings that make you feel as though you’ve stepped back in time. An afternoon stroll with a cup of coffee on one of the terraces will make your stay complete.

The Twickel estate features various hiking trails, both short and long. Several routes start from the heart of Delden, and there is plenty of free parking available.
Cycling in Delden
OP10 Delden is located right on a mountain bike trail (67 km); an excellent starting point or place to rest.
At one with your horse and nature
Twente has its own network of trail junctions for horseback riders. This allows you to plan your own route while still passing through the most beautiful spots in Delden and the surrounding area.
