The best of both worlds – city and countryside

After working as a lab technician for many years, it was time for me—Marlijn Hovels—to make a change at the end of 2018. My husband’s and my busy work schedules turned out not to be such a good fit for our family (two boys and a girl). That’s why we started looking for a suitable property in downtown Oldenzaal to make our dream a reality: running a group accommodation. This way, I can work from home a lot. We now have two locations; OP10 Delden has joined the mix.

Why OP10?

The locations in Delden and Oldenzaal both have house number 10,
hence the name.

City and Countryside – One Dream

We were asked by Landgoed Twickel if we knew anyone who could manage the farm lodges at Dubbelink Havezate… We became curious and spent a wonderful weekend there with the family. The result: we were enthusiastic and decided to take on the challenge ourselves.

In early 2019, we purchased an old retail space in the heart of Oldenzaal. The building was completely renovated and has been ready to welcome guests since August 2020. The property is a small-scale group accommodation, with space for 10–15 people. Its central location combined with its historic character make it a distinctive place to stay.
